Call her cheeky. Irreverent. A tad crazy, even. But this is a girl who can kick. With her left foot, too. Perhaps Daljit’s own brand is one of hybrid vigour, the ability to think scientifically, strategically, and creatively. Her voracious appetite for learning doesn’t hurt either. Here’s Daljit’s storytale.
She began her career as a pharmacist in a Liverpool chemist, extemporaneously preparing over 5L of methadone a day. Eventually, she overdosed on heroin addicts (the metaphorical equivalent), and journeyed home to London. Here she specialised in geriatric and psychiatric community care, conducting drug talks to care workers.
Her first foray in advertising was as a copywriter, writing for consumers on OTC brands, such as Nicorette, Canesten, Imodium, Ex-Lax. Having counseled patients for years over that very same counter, crafting copy in an easily digestible, people-friendly voice came naturally.
Since moving to NYC, Daljit has worked in many therapeutic categories, winning pitches and launching brands. From blockbusters such as Cialis and Nexium to biologics such as Cimzia and Humira, plus a plethora of antiretrovirals for HIV.

As an Executive Creative Director of a startup, she led, cultivated, and nurtured a bunch of brilliant creatives, winning a handful of fancy awards; “Agency of the year category III”, “top 40 global campaigns”, “Best Professional Ad’, and finalist for “Most Creative Agency”. Next, Daljit managed the Merck paediatric vaccine portfolio, picking up MM&M Gold and global awards for “Best multichannel campaign for a large client”.
Women’s Health came thereafter, spanning the reproductive lifecycle from birth control to IVF to menopause. She pitched, rebranded an IUD, repositioned a fertility brand, and put the first non-hormonal therapy for hot flashes on the map. Indeed, Daljit has run the gamut from DTC, DTP to HCP, from audiences across US and Global markets.
She adores branding, launching products, and storytelling with gobs of passion, conviction, and natural killer instincts. One that leaves people beaming from cheek to cheek. Now she’s doing it again. Only this time she’s gone from BioTech to FinTech. And she finally learned what a derivative is. Ultimately, all Daljit wants to do is create a meaningful impact in this world. That’s why she’s turning her attention to something entirely different. Blockchain.
